Adam finds Brax at Angelo's, wanting to know what he's done with Jamie. After talking to Jamie on the phone, Adam questions what Brax wants. It's simple - all he has to do is turn himself into the cops and Jamie will be freed.
Adam tells Brax he's not worried - the police won't believe a word Brax says. However, John enters having recorded Adam's confession on his phone, and Liam enters as a witness. It seems Adam has shown his final hand. Soon afterwards, both Adam and Jamie are arrested. Despite the charges, Adam turns to Brax with a warning - they'll see each other again soon.
Meanwhile, with VJ still away, Jett embarks on a new friendship with Indi. It's soon evident that impressionable Jett may be falling for her a little harder than first thought. When Gina and John insist upon a babysitter while at the principal's function, Jett floats the idea of Indi - she can get some study done, get some pay and they can hang out together. The 'babysit' seems to be going well, that is until Romeo turns up and steals Indi's attention. Romeo is an obstacle that Jett is going to have to overcome.
Elsewhere, Bianca attends her first day back at school and is surprised to find Heath arriving to walk her home at the end of the day. Taking a stroll on the beach, they address Heath's growing maturity - he's really trying to make something of his life. The idea of moving in together is raised and their union is sealed with a kiss. However, not everyone is convinced. Some banter between the Braxton brothers sees Brax laughing off Heath's motivations - Heath getting his life together? He'll believe it when he sees it.

Zac places Casey in the gaol kitchen as the new kitchen hand. It isn't long before bad guy Courtney is asking for favours - certain packages come with the food delivery and he'd like Casey to make sure those packages reach their destination.
Finding the drugs amongst a bag of rice, it seems Casey has succumbed to Courtney's demands. However, when Courtney arrives at Casey's cell, Casey drops a bombshell - he flushed the lot. He adds that he's not doing any of Courtney's dirty work, so don't ask again.
Meanwhile, Jett arrives for breakfast at the Diner and finds Indi there waiting for Romeo. Having headed off to the bathroom, she gets a text message from Romeo saying that he can't make it, but Jett deletes the message before she gets back in an attempt to create friction. To his disappointment, Indi takes the miscommunication lightly.
Later, outside the surf club, Jett again tries to cause division by rubbing lipstick on Romeo's collar. The plan for separation between Indi and Romeo again fails, with Romeo instead wising up to Jett's plan. He casually raises Jett's motives at Angelo's. Jett denies it, but it's clear he's been left looking like the fool.
Elsewhere, with a new science assignment handed out, Sasha is stuck in partnership with chatterbox Rosie. Sasha struggles to handle Rosie, and a hiccup during research results in the two of them falling off the pier into the bay. Despite their differences earlier in the day, the girls have dinner together and discover they may have more in common than first thought.
Also today, Alf is incensed when more money is stolen from the caravan park. At the Diner, Irene too is dismayed to find that a $20 note has gone walkabout. It's a surprise to both when the money is handed back. Irene's suspicions are raised when Celia is seen to be around the place at the time of missing - and then returned - money. Alf is also starting become suspicious when Celia buys gifts for the family.

Brax is worried to find Casey home early with bruises on his face. Casey says that it's nothing, but Brax isn't convinced. Soon afterwards, Brax confronts Natalie and Zac about it - pointing out that having Zac around was supposed to give Casey some protection. Casey later discovers Natalie and Zac have a history and that worse still, Brax had asked Nat to have Zac look out for him.
Both Braxton brothers soon find themselves apologising for their outbursts - Brax to Nat and Zac, and Casey to Brax. A late night talk outside Angelo's sees Brax saying how proud he is that Casey didn't fold to thug Courtney. Casey then reveals that despite doing time inside, he may yet finish his HSC and study a trade after all.
Meanwhile, Dex and April discuss uni - 'O' Week is coming up and April would like to do it together. Dex isn't so keen as he's supposed to be taking it slow, but when Irene raises a toga party at the farm house, Dex jumps at the idea. Sid puts his foot down, declaring that there won't be any parties, but Sasha and Dex feel otherwise.
Later, the toga party doesn't quite go as planned for anyone. April's jealousy kicks in when Dex's hot uni friends take his attention. The reverse occurs when a 'stripping jock guy' dances for April. Rosie's night also goes from bad to worse as she mistakenly thinks that Casey is hitting on her. The party comes to a halt when Sid marches in. He implores Dex to take things easy but Dex bites back - he's sick of living like an invalid. Fun, however, has its consequences when April confronts him some time later. She was disgusted by just how much he was enjoying the attention from the girls.
Friction continues to follow Dex and April post toga party. She is upset with the way he treated Sid during the gathering. A chat with Alf convinces Dex to be open and honest with his dad. Sid admits that he's struggling to allow Dex to live normally given what's happened, but Dex reassures him that things are going to be fine.
Later, Dex and April talk about their insecurities and it's clear to them that the toga party is just a night to forget. All is forgiven and their relationship is back to normal.
Meanwhile, Maddy's deteriorating health leaves Spencer with no option but to call Roo. Roo and Harvey's arrival at school angers Maddy, but it's clear she's in need of their help. After lunch at Summer Bay House, Spencer and Maddy decline Roo's offer to stay with them, insisting they'll be just fine on their own. Roo is adamant they need to remain under her care, but Harvey's not so sure Alf would like it.
Elsewhere, Heath receives a call that Darcy has run away. Finding her at the share house, Heath gets Natalie's help. A walk on the beach with Heath and Darcy reveals the underlying issue - Darcy wants to move to Summer Bay to live with Heath. Back at the share house, Heath announces to Bianca that he's going to file for custody. Darcy is ecstatic with the news, but it's evident that Bianca is not entirely convinced it's a good idea.

Heath is rocked when Connie tells him that she won't be accepting his plea for joint custody. In the aftermath of the Adam saga, she is concerned for Darcy's safety - Heath will still be allowed supervised visits, but that's it. Heath breaks the news to Darcy and reveals the reasons for the decision - he used to be a criminal. Darcy blames him for the whole thing - because of his mistakes, she has to suffer.
Darcy's outburst leaves Heath convinced that his blunders in the past have stuffed up Darcy's life for good. With his guilt and anger intensifying, he splits up with Bianca. Bianca says that such a decision is only stemming from the heartache of losing his daughter, but Heath begs to differ - their relationship isn't working out for him.
Meanwhile, Tamara asks Casey if they could move in together. The suggestion motivates both to go on the hunt for jobs. Casey applies for the janitor's position at Summer Bay High, but due to his criminal record, the board won't allow it. However, Gina tells him that John is looking for a handy man at the surf club - Casey might find a job yet.
Elsewhere, Maddy skips into Summer Bay House, having met with Gina at the Diner. She tells Roo that she is looking forward to enrolling at Summer Bay High. Her bubble soon bursts with the arrival of her mother Tanya. Adamant that her arrival means nothing, Maddy decides she's going nowhere. That is until Spencer arrives on the scene relaying advice from Roo - together they should return home and give their parents another chance.

Tanya expresses concern to Roo about Maddy's future. It transpires that when Maddy returns home, she'll be attending a different school to Spencer so that she can focus on her music. Roo wonders if that's what Maddy wants, but Tanya makes it clear that it's what is best for her daughter.
Having said goodbye to Spencer and Maddy, Roo finds the old violin that Alf had bought for Maddy. She confides in Harvey, regretting the decision to let the kids go. This leads to a touching moment between the two - they make a really great team.
Meanwhile, Tamara gets some good news when April finds her a place to live at Irene's. Things take a turn for the worse, however, when John is forced to sack Casey from his new job at the Surf Club - the committee refuse to keep him on.
Elsewhere, after talking to April and Irene about her relationship dramas, Bianca heads to the share house to confront Heath - he doesn't get to take his Darcy problems out on her. The message gets through as Heath takes up responsibility of not just his relationship, but Angelo's too. This doesn't read so well for Liam, who is moved from his post as manager and made dish pig for the day. With tensions rising, Heath offers Liam the opportunity to punch him. Stirring the pot, Liam finally gives in, not punching Heath once but twice.

Heath demotes Liam full-time and promotes himself to manager. Liam takes it well, knowing the obvious will happen - the business will crumble under Heath's guidance. Despite the protestations of Kyle, Liam lets Heath sink the ship, losing money to customers left, right and centre.
Taking money from the registers after close, it appears Liam's motivations behind wanting Heath to fail go a little further than a personal grudge...
Meanwhile, Sasha gets angry with April after discovering that she helped Tamara get accommodation at Irene's. Apologising for her behaviour, Sasha admits that it's hard to get her head around the fact that Casey chose Tamara over her.
Elsewhere, Jett is bullied into completing an assignment by classmate Tilda. Standing up to her does no good when Tilda again forces the issue - cross her and she'll make his life a living hell. Sasha notices the angst between the two, curious that Rosie's little sister is giving Jett such a hard time. However, Sasha finds out from Jett that Tilda is not Rosie's sister 'Hannah' at all. Sasha follows Rosie home, arriving to find that she lives on her own.

Dex is worried when Sid's medical convention alibi is revealed as a lie. Calling a reverse number, he discovers that Sid has checked himself into a psychiatric facility.
At the same time, Sid talks with Doc Padley as his fears bubble to the surface. It seems everything that has happened to him in his life has had an enormous impact on his wellbeing. As the doctor implores Sid to concentrate on his strengths rather than his weaknesses, a familiar voice calls from the distance. It's Dex, wanting to know what is going on.
Meanwhile, Marilyn takes it upon herself to try and cheer up Celia following her fight with Alf. Having heard Celia's side of the story, Marilyn decides to mediate the two. Alf eventually relents as brother and sister put their concerns on the table.
Elsewhere, Rosie finds Sasha on her front door wanting to walk to school. When Rosie declines, Sasha demands that she tell her what's going on - she's a friend wanting to help. Rosie reveals that her dad lives in the city with another family and that her mum left a few years back, so she's effectively on her own. With the truth out, Sasha solidifies their friendship with a hug. Rosie says that living on her own does have its perks as the girls kick back with a bowl of popcorn.
Also today, Romeo talks to John about the abandoned gym. Raising the idea with Indi, he finally wins her over - together they're going to go into business.

Dex is the perfect shoulder to lean on for Sid, who has decided it's the right time to leave the psychiatric facility.
With a chance to think everything over, Sid decides that he's not going to sweat the small stuff - he's going to make decisions based on what's best for him and his family.
Romeo and Indi are doing likewise, but are having trouble succeeding. After failing to impress Harvey and Roo with their business loan pitch, the bank rejects them. It seems their dream of running the gym is over. That is until Sid announces at dinner that he's looking to join them as a silent partner. With Sid's financial input, Romeo and Indi arrive back at the unfurnished gym to announce their good news - they got the loan and the gym is theirs!
Elsewhere, upon Marilyn's advice, Celia calls the man responsible for all of her gambling problems - Sheldon. Alf is not happy when Sheldon arrives at Summer Bay House, but is talked around by Celia, who claims that they are going to get help for their gambling addiction. With the revelation they are seeking help, Alf returns money he's been guarding from Celia - she'll need it if she's returning to Africa. However, Sheldon soon gets hold of it, telling Celia he's got a great tip that will see the money triple and set them up for life. Celia is left with the decision to keep the money or have one last bet. What will she do?

Zac and Natalie's old spark is reigniting as their friendship grows. He asks her out on a date, but Natalie is unsure whether they should pursue something. She is also hurt when she hears that Brax has returned and not sought her out. Unbeknownst to her, all Brax wants to do is see her.
At the same time, Angelo's is disintegrating under Heath's terrible management, so Brax is distracted by putting out all of Heath's fires. Heath is disappointed when Brax reverses all his changes. Later, Bianca tells Brax that he'd better see Natalie, since she thinks he's deliberately avoided her. Brax heads off in search of her, only to see Natalie sharing a romantic kiss with Zac. He's missed his chance and Natalie has moved on.
Meanwhile, Casey sees Jamie being led into the gaol. Casey extends the olive branch to Jamie, worried about how he'll cope in the prison environment. Jamie reveals how cut up he is over his father's death and Casey counsels him to guard his feelings in here.
Later, Jamie is intimidated by Courtney and his cronies. They don't understand why Jamie wouldn't want to get Casey back for what the Braxtons did to Adam. Soon afterwards, Courtney starts a fight with Casey. Zac tries to calm the situation, but it's clear this isn't over. As the day continues, Courtney appears with his mates and they overpower Casey. They goad Jamie into beating up Casey or they will break his legs.
Elsewhere, Sheldon tries to tempt Celia into betting $7,000 by telling her that she could take the money they might win to Africa to help people in need. Alf counsels Celia to stay strong. She confides that she's in love with Sheldon, but Alf is adamant that it can't be love if he wants her to compromise everything she stands for. Celia tells Sheldon that she can't let him gamble that money, and if he goes to that race then they're finished. Alf is proud of her, but Celia laments her previous engagement with Les as she still has his ring. Alf believes what is missing in her life is helping people.

Zac is dismayed to see that Casey has been beaten up. He won't talk, but Zac promises to see if he can get an early release. Soon afterwards, Casey is upset when Tamara visits him - he doesn't want her to see him in gaol. An upset Tamara then tells Brax about Casey's injuries. After he's released early, Casey visits Brax at Angelo's. Brax is angry to hear that Jamie has been moved to the prison and is behind Casey's beating. He also counsels Casey to not push Tamara away - he knows from experience that the special ones need to be treated right.
Later, Brax goes to see Natalie, but loses his cool with Zac, blaming him for Casey's problems with Jamie. Natalie reminds Brax that Zac is the only one helping Casey in prison. At the same time, Casey apologises to Tamara and explains why he was so upset to see her in gaol - he needs to keep prison and real life separate.
Meanwhile, Brax is impressed by Kyle and his work after Liam vouches for him. Kyle stands up to Brax about being down on Heath - he tried his best when Brax unexpectedly took off, and while he was away Heath lost visitation rights to see Darcy. Liam asks him about becoming manager again. Brax, with new found confidence in his brother, tells Liam to take it up with Heath. Unable to hide his disappointment, Liam steals cash from the till that night and Kyle catches him.
Elsewhere, Indi and Romeo are intimidated by all the work that needs to be done at the gym, on top of the rent and insurance. They ask Roo for help, but everyone ends up weighing in. On top of that, everyone tells them instead of paying them, Romeo and Indi can give them free membership. They are soon overwhelmed by all the advice, so Indi loses it and storms out. Romeo tells her they can solve this by being forthright about making decisions together. They take charge in the planning for the gym and decide everyone will be paid for their work - no more free memberships or mates' rates. Sid tells Indi that he's impressed with them for keeping everyone in line. Romeo and Indi feel confident that they can make the gym successful.

Kyle confronts Liam about stealing from Angelo's - this is why they're in the red. Liam is angry, pointing out that he's paid his dues at Angelo's while the brothers have dropped the ball. Kyle doesn't care - Liam should take it up with Brax, not steal!
Later, Kyle and Brax fight over Angelo's, and Kyle reveals that he's worried about the upcoming case - he's only got legal aid and he's worried he'll end up in gaol. Casey tells Brax that he's not going to testify against Kyle since he helped out with Tamara's ex. Casey feels it's time to move on. Kyle is grateful, but is still concerned about Tamara testifying.
Kyle is also torn between his brothers and Liam when Brax notices the missing money. Liam is relieved that Kyle didn't tell Brax about his lifting from the till, but Kyle warns him not to do it again. Liam promises he won't, but can't help taking more money when nobody is around.
Meanwhile, Romeo learns that Casey wants to move in with Tamara, so offers him a part-time job at the gym, even though Indi is not on board with the idea. Casey is delighted, but Romeo stresses how much responsibility it is. Indi concedes that it's okay if Casey works there, and she's glad Romeo is being assertive. When Casey thanks her she admits her concerns to him, but welcomes him to the team regardless.
Elsewhere, Dex is stressed about starting university again, and April thinks she has pushed him back into it too soon after the accident. Dex complains to Sasha about his timetable - it seems impossible that he'll get all of his tutorials without them clashing. April is so worried that she goes to Sasha, who assures her that the timetable is stressful for everyone, not just Dex. April's fears are not allayed. As the stress builds, April uses Sid as an excuse for Dex to bow out of uni. Dex is furious, believing April has no faith in him.

Dex lashes out at April over her lack of belief in him. Irene doesn't understand April's backflip - she was the one pushing him back to uni. April doubts whether he can handle the stress, but Irene thinks she should trust him. Soon afterwards, April and Dex argue and it seems they don't view his progress the same way.
Later in the car, Sid sees April upset and goes to comfort her. Wanting to show them that he's not incapable, Dex jumps in the driver's seat and turns on the ignition. However, he suffers flashbacks of the accident and Sid runs over, taking the keys. Dex and April decide their relationship is in a rut - they're stuck in their carer/patient role. They decide to take a break, and both are heartbroken.
Meanwhile, Jett is still pretending to be sick to get out of school, but John and Gina force him to return. Jett is wary of Tilda, and as he fears, she resumes her bullying. Jett volunteers to be Gina's assistant for the afternoon to get away from Tilda, but Gina misunderstands and thinks Jett has a crush on Tilda. Later, Tilda physically assaults Jett, but he can't hit back because she's a girl. She warns him not to tell Gina and taunts him about his dead mother. John witnesses Tilda punching Jett, and suddenly realises why Jett's been acting so strangely.
Elsewhere, Roo is overjoyed to see Spencer back in the Bay. It turns out that he couldn't fix things with his father over Maddy, and he's not able to see her - she's being sent away to boarding school. Later, Maddy shows up at Roo's. Roo races to the bus stop to catch Spencer before he leaves again, but they arrive too late. Luckily Spencer gets off the bus and shares a warm embrace with Maddy. They're back together, and a joyful Roo and Harvey look on. Everything is great until Spencer's father shows up - he wants Spencer to come back home.

Roo and Harvey try to convince Spencer to reason with his dad. Harvey knows Roo wants these kids back in their life, so he has an idea - they should offer Maddy and Spencer emotional and financial support as long as they go to school and study.
Later, Harvey gets Spencer's dad to come and talk to him. Spencer refuses to leave with his father and hugs him goodbye, but his feeling of grief is palpable - he's letting go of his family. Roo and Harvey offer all their support. As the day continues, Alf gives Maddy a gift - an old violin he's had re-tuned. It looks like this situation is going to work out for everyone.
Meanwhile, Celia muses on the nature of love to Alf. She's shocked to see a passionate Heath and Bianca walk past - what is a girl like Bianca doing with a man like Heath? She lectures a shocked Bianca, telling her that she's making a mistake being with Heath. Irene puts Celia in her place, explaining their recent loss of Rocco and how supportive Heath was of Bianca.
Feeling bad about her earlier judgements on Heath, Celia apologises, but it's clear the two of them are from different worlds. Prompted by Celia's earlier conversations, Heath proposes to Bianca.
Elsewhere, John tells Gina that Tilda has been bullying Jett, but Jett pleads with them to leave it alone. Later, Gina asks Sasha to have a chat with Jett about bullying, so she skips a planned lunch with Rosie. Sasha tells Jett that he needs to talk about what he's going through, but Jett bursts out that he deserves to be bullied, because he was a bully himself.
Later, Rosie is upset about Sasha not meeting her - she feels Sasha is pulling away. Rosie gives Sasha a friendship necklace and Sasha is touched by the gesture, but she soon feels smothered as Rosie waits for her for four hours as she finishes her shift.
